More and more people are choosing to buy organic products, and there are some good reasons for it. In the simplest terms, organic is more “what you see is what you get”, or rather “what you buy is what you eat”: Organic produce – whether animal or plant based – is free from artificial preservatives, antibiotics, growth hormones, synthetic pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. You are therefore much less likely to consume accidental ingredients that you would not want on your shopping list. Because it doesn’t contain preservatives to make it look fresher for longer, organic food tends to actually be fresher, as producers get it to the market quickly.
With so many good reasons to buy organic products, we thought we should make it a bit easier for our customers to find them! If you head to the Real Economy Shop, you will now find a main category “Organic”, where you’ll find the usual product categories of meat; bread; butter & cheese; milk, cream & yoghurt; dairy alternatives; fruit & vegetables and “kitchen cupboard”.
