Crafts and food made by the Southmead Real Economy Centre

Since opening its doors in August 2018 the Real Economy Centre in Southmead has been building a steady community of regular participants. While food is a focal point and everyone enjoys the delicious weekly lunches, the social aspect is at least as important. After lunch the community gathers to do crafts or explore all things food- from healthy recipes to growing and preserving food. They have become so productive that “Real Economy Southmead” is now a regular supplier in our online shop! You can order crafts made from recycled materials, pickles and spice mixes – and more to come. Of course all proceeds go towards our Solidarity Fund.
